Back in January Essie introduced its Serene Slates Collection.  Its purpose is to promote a digital detox and be more in the moment.  The collection is filled with mineral neutrals that compliment a variety of skin tones.  You know  I love a lacquer that will compliment a skin tone.  The collection is filled with nine new shades, three more than the usual six.  All the colors are so cute, but there was really just one which caught my eye and I just had to have.  I haven’t really been in the mood lately for neutrals so I was excited to come across this shade.

The one color which caught my eye is ‘Wire-less is More’.  It’s a dusty rose pink that has a sparkly pink pearl finish.  It’s pretty opaque so two coats will get you full coverage.  The color truly is pretty and definitely has a calming effect to it.  I’m obsessed with the color and can’t wait to wear it again.  ‘Wire-less is More’ is a color than can be worn throughout the year during any season.  I love finding versatile colors that can be worn throughout the year.  This shade has easily become one of my Essie favorites.

The cool thing about this color is I also see it working for special occasions.  It could totally be a color picked for a bridal party…or even the bride.  Perfect for cozy weekends in or a fun brunch marathon weekend, but it’s definitely a color that should be a staple in your nail polish collection.
